Major Tournaments:

Every year Macqaurie Debating is invited to attend Major tournaments hosted by other universities around the world.

The largest tournaments Macquarie Debating competes at are the Australian, the Australasian, the Australasian Women’s and the World Championships. Different institutions bid to host these tournaments each year, and the schedules involve up to a week of debating and socialising, including meals and accommodation.

These tournaments provide individuals with opportunities to travel all over the world, gaining unique experiences while creating lifelong memories and friends.
